CareYourWay East Lancashire recently hosted a heartwarming charity event, "A Trip Down Memory Lane," at Whalley Village Hall, inviting all members of their community to join in the fun. With over 30 attendees, this was a fun-filled afternoon of music, laughter, and community bonding—all completely free of charge. The event, which successfully raised £175 in support of the East Lancashire Hospice, was a true celebration of compassion and togetherness.
Guests came together to enjoy the nostalgic songs performed by the talented Poppy Holiday. From toe-tapping classics to sing-alongs that brought back fond memories, the atmosphere was filled with joy. It was a delightful opportunity for guests, including members of the CareYourWay team, to dance, mingle, and make new connections over cups of tea, coffee, and delicious sweet treats.

The highlight of the afternoon was the lively tombola, where attendees eagerly tried their luck to win prizes donated in support of the hospice. The refreshments services supported the event's fundraising efforts, ensuring that the hospice can continue providing essential care and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the community.
CareYourWay East Lancashire expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of "A Trip Down Memory Lane." By offering a warm and inclusive atmosphere, the event not only raised crucial funds but also strengthened community ties and highlighted the power of coming together for a meaningful cause.
The funds raised will make a significant impact on the East Lancashire Hospice's ability to deliver compassionate care where it's needed most. CareYourWay East Lancashire looks forward to organising more events that bring laughter, connection, and support to the community in the future.
